What the extensions do with your data

Glasshot, Glasspick and Glassnight work locally in your browser. Screenshots, colors, fonts, settings and the pages you visit are not sent to us or anyone else. Settings may sync between your own computers through your browser's built-in sync.

Licence check (Glass Pro only)

If you activate Glass Pro, the extension sends your licence key, a random install ID and the extension name to our licence server, about once a day, to confirm the licence is active. The server stores a one-way hash of the key, the install IDs, the time of the last check and the e-mail address linked to the purchase. IP addresses are used only briefly to prevent abuse and appear in short-lived server logs. Legal basis: performance of the contract.

Purchases

Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record. They process your name, e-mail, billing details and payment information under their own privacy policy. We receive your name, e-mail, country and order details.

Processors and storage

Licence server: Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany (EU). Payments: Lemon Squeezy LLC. We do not sell data or use advertising trackers.

Retention

Licence data is kept while your licence is active and for up to 2 years afterwards, or as required by tax law for purchase records.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and object to processing by writing to us. You can also complain to the Hungarian data protection authority (NAIH, naih.hu) or your local authority.
